CASCO is a Canadian designer and manufacturer of consumer electronics products. All of our products are proudly designed and manufactured in Canada, directly by us.
At CASCO, we focus on treating everyone in our ecosystem with dignity and respect, prioritising long-term business stewardship over profit maximization, and relying on timeless business principles.
Ploopy is our flagship brand. Founded in 2019, we design and manufacture high-quality, well supported, open-source computer peripherals, like mice, headphones, and trackpads.
Ploopy products have shipped all over the world and been featured in dozens of publications. All Ploopy products are proudly designed and manufactured in Canada.

Where We Are
Our product development is completed by a 100% remote team based in the Greater Toronto Area. Our manufacturing facility operates in Guelph, Ontario.
Our facility is located on the traditional lands of many peoples over time, but more specifically the Attiwonderonk, and the Haudenosaunee. This land is held as the treaty lands and territory with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
Who We Are
CASCO was founded in 2026 by business partners and brothers Phil and Colin. Phil and Colin both graduated as engineers from the University of Toronto and accrued a combined 16 years of highly varied experience: from the start-up world to Fortune 100, from accelerators to Silicon Valley, from the worlds of finance, biotech, automotive, and more. They started working together in 2019, founding Ploopy Corporation.
From their parents’ basement, they designed and launched Ploopy’s first computer mouse, the Ploopy Classic, to great success. Ploopy continued to pick up steam through many product launches, expanding from trackballs to headphones, track pads, and other input devices.
In 2026, Phil and Colin decided to branch out beyond computer peripherals and founded CASCO, a general electronics design and manufacturing firm.
Today, Phil is CASCO’s Product Development Manager, where he focuses on managing the design of new products, both to our customers and for use within the company. Colin is CASCO’s Operations Manager, where he focuses on the activities of our manufacturing facility.
